Kim

Kim was reluctant to leave the cool air condition of the sorority formal, but she longed for a joint. Her silky brown dress flowed over her lithe body like the alcohol and pills through her veins-she felt sexy and so free. She knew she was drunk and high, but she longed to get even higher. So she drained her cheap champagne and stumbled outside. Before she could light a joint, her stepbrother John snapped a photo of her leaning against the marble column. With an air of elegance and a timeless melancholy in her eyes, she watched the world pass by, her dress flowing like a waterfall of silk, as if carrying the untold stories of generations past within its delicate threads.
