  Drunk on the Arc The Arc River lay smooth as glass, its surface a mirror for the twilight sky, streaked with hues of amber and violet. The wooden boat rocked gently beneath Lucienne Maria Rawlings, its creaking timbers blending with the soft lap of water against the hull. The Pont des Trois-Sautes bridge loomed in the distance, its stone arches a silent sentinel over the serene waters. Lucienne, her auburn hair catching the fading light like burnished copper, lounged against a pile of cushions, her long legs draped languidly over the side of the boat. Her off-white gown, flowing and scandalously low-cut, clung to her curves, the deep U-neckline revealing the soft swell of her breasts, rising and falling with each languid breath. The long sleeves, adorned with loose, ruffled cuffs, fluttered lightly in the evening breeze, while beneath the hem of her dress, black stockings hugged her thighs, held in place by delicate suspenders that hinted at secrets unseen.
